Playing schedule for Women's EHF EURO 2014 released
The EHF flagship national teams event will start on 7
December 2014 at 18:00 hrs with a match Spain vs Poland in Györ, Hungary.
The EHF has announced the official playing schedule for the
Women’s EHF European Championship, which will take place in Hungary and Croatia
from 7 to 21 December 2014.

The following teams are seeded in Preliminary Round Groups A, B, C and D as follows:
• Hungary, Spain, Russia and Poland will play in Group A. The matches will take place in Györ.
• Norway, Denmark, Romania and Ukraine will play in Group B in Debrecen.
• Sweden, Germany, Croatia and the Netherlands will play in Group C in Varaždin.
• Montenegro, France, Serbia and Slovakia will play in Group D in Osijek.
Spain will face Poland in Group A in the first match of the final tournament at 18:00 hrs on 7 December 2014 in the new Audi Arena in Györ before the event's official opening ceremony and followed by the match of the Hungarian hosts against Russia at 20:30 hrs.
The Croatian hosts will join the action one day later, 8 December at 20:15 hrs in the Group C match against Sweden in Varaždin, while Montenegro will open their title defence at the same time in the Group D match against Serbia in Osijek.
The released schedule also includes the basic timing for the main round played in Debrecen and Zagreb and subsequent games. These matches are subject to possible change according to the requirements of TV partners.
The final game will throw-off on 21 December at 18:00 hrs in Budapest.
The information on the ticket sales start will be released next week.
